Canada up next for K+N
Kuehne + Nagel announced the acquisition of the customs broker Farrow on 28 November 2023. As the logistics services provider has a growing number of clients who rely on customs clearance services, this move will support the company in its 'roadmap 2026' goals and give it access to markets on the USA’s Canadian and Mexican borders.
Farrow is based in Windsor (Ontario) and employs around 830 people in Canada and the USA. It has seen recent growth, with customs entries totalling 1.5 million in 2022.
Once the acquisition is completed in 2024, it will be a fully-owned subsidiary of Kuehne+Nagel. Hansjörg Rodi, member of the management board and head of road logistics at K+N International: “This strategic fit will accelerate K+N’s growth ambitions in the customs market and offer value-adding solutions.” (mk)
