Californication of warehouse space
Los Angeles-based 3PL Weber Logistics has acquired the warehousing company Pacific Coast Warehouse Company (PCWC). The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The PCWC brand will vanish and the company will be fully integrated into Weber Logistics. All PCWC employees will join Weber’s staff by 1 May 2022.
The acquisition adds over 55,000 sqm of warehousing space to the current network of 15 warehouses, including facilities in Ontario, CA and Chino, CA. Weber now operates almost 372,000 sqm in total.
"In the last two years, Weber has doubled its footprint as we seek to rapidly scale our omni-channel distribution network,” said company CEO Bob Lilja. (sh)
