Californian haulier changes hands
The USA-headquartered transport company CRST International has acquired Gardner Trucking. Founded in 1989, it is one of California’s largest truckload carriers and a provider of specialised regional truckload services, logistics, drayage and warehouse services for bulk and commodity end to end markets.
Based in southern California, the company services the western United States, with facilities in California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona and Texas.
In an aggressive acquisition strategy, CRST has taken over Specialised Transportation, Allied Special Products, BESL Transfer Company over the last several years. Its most recent purchase was Pegasus Transportation. (ben)
