Building a rail massing centre in Xi'an
The international trade and logistic park in Xi’an, Shaanxi province in Northwest China, recently launched a series of land-sea intermodal cargo transport services, linking Xi'an and Ningbo, a coastal city in Zhejiang province, and Xi'an and Qingdao, a port city in Shandong province.
The cargo train loaded with 41 containers full of Russian imported plates and mechanical and electrical equipment slowly departed the Xi'an Port. The train marks the first step for the port of Xi'an to build a large land-sea transport corridor. It will help Xi'an build a national railway massing centre for China Railway Express (CRC) between China and Europe. (ben)
