Building a Bangkok cold chain
Logisteed has invested in cold storage near Bangkok, commencing temperature-sensitive logistics operations earlier this month. The hub is located in Samut Prakan, 35 km from the Thail capital Bangkok and 25 km from Suvarnabhumi airport.
The warehouse covers more than 43,000 sqm, with office space of around 6,000 sqm bringing it to almost 50,000 sqm. The space is divided into multiple temperature zones, offering ambient, air-con, refrigerated and frozen environments.
Customers from the healthcare, high-functional materials and other sectors can benefit from the base’s cold chain portfolio and its proximity to Bangkok. Solar power generation facilities and LED lighting complete the sustainable aspects of the hub. Logisteed is aiming to obtain GDP, GHP and CEIV Pharma certificates for its local operations. (mk)
