Bolstering business in Indonesia
BBN Airlines Indonesia, a part of Avia Solutions Group, the world's largest ACMI (aircraft, crew, maintenance, and insurance) provider, has added three Boeing 737-800s and one Boeing 737-400F to strengthen its position in the Indonesian aviation sector.
The four aircraft were acquired in November 2023. Currently, they are undergoing a maintenance check process and are expected to be ready to operate unscheduled passenger charter flights in early March 2024, with domestic and international routes.
Among others, the Indonesian ministry of foreign affairs has given BBN Airlines Indonesia a mandate to send 20 t of materials and raw materials to support the rehabilitation of Port Vila International Airport in Vanuatu. (cj)
