Bohnen Logistik working for Heineken Germany
The contract logistics service provider Bohnen Logistik, a member of the Germany-based Duisport Group, has been mandated by Heineken Deutschland to manage its central warehouse for beer and wine products in Werne, Westphalia.
The beverage producer’s supply chain director, Anton Relyovski, said: "The logistics market is becoming ever more complex and presents us with new challenges as well. We are all the more pleased to have found a partner in Bohnen Logistik that will optimally support our plans to grow sustainably in Germany."
At the 15,000 sqm central warehouse, Bohnen Logistik will provide warehousing, picking and delivery services for several hundred items of Heineken Germany’s barrelled and crated goods, and also deploy its own truck fleet to dispose of production waste from Heineken’s breweries. (mw)
