Basel-Westport shuttle now five times a week
Contargo is expanding its hinterland rail services between the seaport of Rotterdam and the border triangle of Germany/France/Switzerland: from November 15, the company is adding two roundtrips to its BWS Basel-Westport shuttle, thus raising the frequency to five round trips per week. Contargo operates the trains in owner traction.
The increased frequency will also reduce unloading and storage costs for the transhipment of export cargo at the railway station Badischer Bahnhof in Basel, Contargo says.
The company specialises in maritime and continental shipments (containers and trailers). The transports can be booked directly via Contargo's web-booking portal. The platform also provides a capacity overview. (ben)
