Bargelink and Timcocom team up
Bargelink, the marketplace for European inland shipping and the Freighttech company Timocom have formed a strategic partnership to combine their assets.
Every month, around 700 barges and up to 200,000 t of freight are offered over Bargelink. In total, there are over 1,500 registered ships with a carrying capacity of around 3 million t. In Timocom’s smart logistics system, over 45,000 European customers advertise up to 750,000 freight and vehicle space offers daily.
Through their cooperation, the two digital logistics companies create the opportunity for their customers to find new business partners – including providers of combined transport services both via inland waterways and roads. (cd)
