Award for MGI and the port of Marseille
As part of this year’s digital transformation awards the software company MGI and the port of Marseille/Fos (France) have won the prize in the logistics category for implementing Ci5, the newest generation of the cargo community system.
Jaap van den Hoogen, CEO of MGI, said: “We are proud to have received the digital transformation trophy. Digitalisation has been part of MGI’s DNA for more than 30 years. Ci5 is an innovation that helps make ports operate more intelligently. The first deployment of the programme in Marseille/Fos is a highlight of our company’s history.” The use of Ci5 has sped up work in the port and accelerated goods transports. (mw)
