Avianca Cargo: all four Iata certifications
The company has successfully completed another Iata certification programme, thus adding Ceiv Live Animals to the previously obtained Ceiv Fresh, Ceiv Pharma, and Ceiv Lithium Batteries. Avianca is now the only airline in the Americas to have achieved all four certifications.
The new certificate confirms that Avianca meets all the standards required for a careful and professional air transport of live animals, ensuring their safety and welfare.
Servicing over 50 destinations, Avianca Cargo operates a fleet of Airbus 330 cargo aircraft, in addition to utilising the belly space of more than 100 Avianca passenger planes. (cj)
