Autonomous delivery for DHL Express Estonia
Clevon’s Autonomous Robot Carrier (ARC) has been a part of DHL Express Estonia’s vehicle fleet since 2022. In the project’s first stage, the carrier transported DHL Express internal packages between three offices in Tallinn. ARC soon moved on to serving business and now private customers.
Clevon’s robot delivers packages DHL Express customers across Tallinn, including the Old Town. The fully electric ARC reduces both noise and air pollution and delivers packages in a swift, safe, and convenient manner.
The first ARC has transported more than 1,200 parcels during the year and travelled more than 7082 km. DHL Express vans, which can carry more and travel longer distances, transport packages from the terminal to designated locations in the city, while Clevon’s carrier handles the last-mile. This reduces the robot’s empty trips and increases overall delivery efficiency. (mk)
