Austrian Post welcomes CFO
On 1 January Barbara Potisk-Eibensteiner became the Austrian post office’s new CFO. She was previously the CFO of the Heinzel Group, paper and pulp manufacturer, from 2017. She remains the chairwoman of the supervisory board of Euro Telesites.
Potisk-Eibensteiner will now take charge of previous CFO Walter Oblin’s work. Oblin was appointed chairman of the board of management and CEO of Österreichische Post on 1 October 2024.
Potisk-Eibensteiner’s responsibilities include managing all finance functions, as well as taking further key management and service roles concerning group real estate, IT, purchasing and legal affairs. At bank99 she’ll take an active role on the supervisory board, focusing on finance and IT matters. (cj)
