Atlas Air expands global partnership with Sats and WFS
Atlas Air has signed a memorandum of understanding with Sats and Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) to strengthen cooperation in air cargo handling and logistics.
The agreement expands their collaboration, particularly in North America, Singapore and Saudi Arabia, enhancing warehouse operations, freighter ramp handling and crew transport services. The partners will also develop digital solutions and automation to improve cargo visibility and traceability.
Additionally, Atlas Air, Sats and WFS have committed to initiatives aimed at reducing the carbon footprint of air cargo operations. Sats and WFS currently handle over 237,800 t of airfreight annually for Atlas Air on 5,300 freighter flights. (js)
