APM Terminals Japan hires managing director
Sakura Kuma will join APM Terminals Japan as managing director, effective 1 February 2021.The company’s business is increasing in Yokohama (Japan) because of the addition of two new large berths (MC3 and MC4). Kuma's particular task will be to manage the recently expanded Minami Honmoku terminals (MC1-4).
Prior to this role, Kuma held leadership positions within marketing and sales, new business development and corporate management in NYK, as well as secondments to NYK Bulk & Projects Carrier, Yusen Terminal and Yokohama-Kawasaki International Port Corporation. She has nearly 20 years of experience in the port, shipping and logistics industries. (amh)
