Another warehouse in Strasbourg
A new 8,500 sqm warehouse in Strasbourg is in the making, close to the Rhenus head office in Alsace, France. The construction of the multi-client warehouse, designed to store products at controlled temperatures and with a dedicated 2 to 8°C area, will be finished H2/2022.
A sizeable portion of the logistics provider’s services are dedicated to the pharmaceutical and medical device sector. Other projects are also being considered at the Strasbourg Eurometropole.
As part of the plan for this new site, the Rhenus heavy vehicle and trailer maintenance workshop was moved to a new site in the southern zone of the Port of Strasbourg in June last year. The truck wash was also relocated nearby, and is now back in operation. (sh)
