Another three years at FRA
The air cargo centre of the Swiss aviation services company Swissport at Frankfurt International Airport (FRA) has successfully re-achieved the Iata Ceiv Pharma certification for yet another three years. The certification represents the industry standard and is no less than a must-have in today’s global temperature-controlled supply chain.
The cargo facility at FRA was opened back in November 2020 and includes a specialised pharma centre which spans an area of 1,560 sqm dedicated for the handling of temperature-controlled pharmaceutical shipments, of which 1,300 sqm are allocated for products requiring to be stored and handled at temperatures from +15°C to +25°C, and 260 sqm for those in need of a temperature range of between +2°C and +8°C. It allows Swissport to offer advanced end-to-end cooling solutions for its customer’s pharma-shipments. (dt)
