Another cold chain hub for Arizona
Lineage’s new site in Waddell, Arizona, is nearing completion, as the cold chain logistics provider expands its network in the Phoenix and Greater Los Angeles areas.
Aiming to enhance its storage capacity and distribution capabilities in the Southwestern USA, Lineage has designed this hub to cater to the temperature-controlled goods market. On around 15,793 sqm, the warehouse will feature a temperature range of between -20°F to 50°F.
Additionally, there will be 28,000 pallet positions, 20 dock doors, double deep racking, drop trailer/container plug-ins, and more. Full EDI capabilities and WMS technology will help further maximise operational efficiency.
The warehouse was built by Cold Summit Development. Lineage is to begin operations at the site in July 2024. (mk)
