Another Canadian-US marriage
The Canadian company GTI Transport Solutions has purchased Foxconn logistics, a brokerage company based in Nashville, Tennessee.
Foxconn logistics is a non-asset contract brokerage specialising in container management and drayage within intermodal logistics, including cross-border transportation to Canada and Mexico.
The acquisition strengthens GTI's focus on the north-south corridor between Montreal and Texas. “This is GTI's fourth acquisition in the last four years,” commented Frederick Perrault, senior partner at the Group Novacap, the equity firm behind GTI Solutions. (sh)
