An offshore deal in the Middle East
Jumbo Offshore signed an MOU with Sea Horizon Offshore Marine Services on 1 February. Under this agreement, Sea Horizon Offshore will provide commercial representation, support operations, and offer project management services for Jumbo Offshore's projects in the UAE, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia.
The aim is to enhance access to safe and high-quality transport and installation solutions for offshore projects in the Middle East.
Sea Horizon Offshore CEO Danial Kaabi highlighted the efficiency benefits of Jumbo’s vessels, which can perform all transport and installation operations from a single platform, unlike the current practice in the region. Jumbo Offshore's fleet, including the J-class vessels with an 1,800 t lifting capability, offers topside construction, flex-lay, and mooring installation and other services. (pb)
