Air Algérie authorised to acquire 15 aircraft
The council of ministers chaired by Algeria’s president Abdelmadjid Tebboune has authorised Air Algérie to acquire 15 aircraft for the opening of new routes, especially to African and Asian countries, the council said in a statement.
"The airline Air Algerie has been authorised to acquire these in addition to the purchase of ships for transporting passengers, goods and grain," said the statement. During this meeting, "the council of ministers approved the new programme of flights of Air Algérie in anticipation of the summer season. This programme is to be published by executive decree. (cj)
