Agility also flourishing
In H1/2022, Kuwait-based Agility achieved a revenue of KD 270.5 million (USD 882 million), an uptick of 22.9%, and a net profit of KD 28.8 million (USD 94 million). Ebitda, which excludes the performance of the GIL business sold by Agility in 2021, increased by 21.5% to KD 71 million (USD 231 million).
Agility vice chairman Tarek Sultan commented on the group's M&A: “The Menzies acquisition, which we concluded earlier this month, is a good example of our growth strategy.”
On 4 August 2022, Agility finalised its acquisition of UK-based John Menzies, to be integrated into its National Aviation Services (NAS), which operates in 58 countries. (sh)
