AFI KLM E&M: three more ASL freighters
Airline-MRO Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance (AFI KLM E&M) and Belgian airline operator ASL Airlines Belgium have signed an agreement to extend their component support contract covering a fleet of five B747-400F and 747-400ERF. AFI KLM E&M will provide component repairs, dedicated pool access, logistics and line maintenance support. ASL Airlines will also rely on AFI KLM E&M’s operational expertise.
By signing this contract renewal, the two companies are extending a long standing cooperation, which started for a fleet of two aircraft in 2006. The new contract includes three more aircraft in ASL's fleet. ASL received its fifth Boeing 747-400 freighter in October 2020. (ah)
