Aeronet opens second facility in Savannah
Aeronet Worldwide has launched a second station in the state of Georgia, opening in September. The 16,704 sqm facility is located around 12.8 km from the Port of Savannah, and 9.6 km from Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport. It will operate as a hub for ocean freight and domestic and international air freight services.
Aeronat also upgraded its Atlanta facility in April 2023 and is planning to increase its presence in the Southeast.
Aeronet Worldwide now has six stations over 9,290 sqm, and four of those will have opened in the past two years. This signals a shift in the company’s business strategy. With added warehouse capacity, the company is positioning itself for warehousing operation and expanding e-commerce and distribution services. (mk)
