AD Ports launches Al Faya dry port
AD Ports has unveiled the Al Faya Dry Port, its first such inland facility in Abu Dhabi (UAE). It’s digitally linked to Khalifa Port via Maqta Technologies’ advanced trade and logistics platform.
The facility, strategically located between Abu Dhabi and Dubai, serves as a transit hub for lorries, enhancing container movements and market access. Initially dedicated to CMA CGM services, the depot offers a capacity of 900 teu and is built with scalable expansion in mind.
With evolving market demands, additional strategic partners such as Cosco and MSC may soon make use of the facility. This new infrastructure complements the recently launched CMA CGM terminal in Khalifa Port. (js)
