A transformational transport operation
Globalink Logistics recently moved four main body transformers weighing over 90,000 kg from Wuhan (China) to Kazakhstan. In a time-critical operation, the logistics specialist handled four transformers, each measuring 6.70 m x 3.10 m x 4.00 m.
Initially loaded in Wuhan, the cargo was then transported to Osakarovka, requiring collaboration between Globalink’s teams in both China and Kazakhstan. Low-bed trailers and cranes were used to facilitate the journey.
Given the tight delivery schedule, the operation was meticulously planned to minimise gaps and ensure smooth shipping across borders. The logistics provider now seeks to venture into other projects involving oversized or complex cargo leveraging its overland transport network. (mk)
