A toast to the Canadian market
The Mullen Group has entered into a letter of intent to acquire Container World Forwarding Services and its subsidiaries by Q2/2024.
Container World is a Canadian logistics provider specialising in the alcoholic beverage and hospitality industries. It provides forwarding, warehousing, and distribution services both internationally and within the provinces of British Columbia and Ontario.
The company will now operate in Mullen Group’s logistics & warehousing segment with an expected annual revenue of CAD 150 million. The acquisition will also add over 92,903 sqm of warehousing to Mullen Group’s portfolio.
The transaction is set to diversify Mullen’s portfolio and increase its market presence in Canada. Dennis Chrismas, founder of Container World, will be leading the business through the transition period. (mk)
