A stylish New Jersey hub
Kuehne + Nagel is opening a new fulfilment centre in Piscataway, New Jersey. The logistics provider’s latest project, which measures over 5,000 sqm, is designed to serve as a fashion hub for a retailer in the textile industry.
With a focus on contract logistics, the facility features automation and robotics solutions which ensure safe and efficient fulfilment processes. Sustainability measures include EV charging stations and LED lighting.
The site, which is part of the company’s investments into its roadmap 2026 ambitions for the e-commerce sector, is just 3.2 km from an existing Kuehne + Nagel facility serving a luxury retail brand.
The Piscataway hub offers quick access to JFK International Airport and Port Elizabeth for both air and sea trade routes. It will come on stream in late-April 2024, and bring approximately 50 new job opportunities to the area. (mk)
