A start-up for green trucks
Over the last two years, the Hylix-B project created by the ministry of the environment of Baden-Württemberg (Germany), has built a fully electric 26 t truck with fuel cell drive and a range of 500 km.
Now a company named Iontrak has been founded to develop, industrialise, produce, and market vehicles with alternative drives and their components as well as launch small series productions of hydrogen trucks.
The Boysen Group has been invited to join the project as a partner and supplier. Boysen specialises in the development and production of high-performance exhaust systems and components for passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and off-highway applications. (ben)
