A promotion for Erica Calhoun
The port of Los Angeles has appointed Erica M. Calhoun as its deputy executive director to oversee the city of Los Angeles harbour department’s administrative bureau. She has served as interim deputy executive director of harbour administration since May 2024.
In her new role Calhoun will be in charge of the planning, direction and management of several key divisions of the port and head the HR function for the department’s nearly 900 employees, as well as risk management, contracts and purchasing, and the commission office.
Calhoun will also serve as acting executive director of the harbour department in executive director Gene Seroka’s absence. (cj)
