A prestigious award for AP Moller Maersk
ICHCA and TT Club recently announced the winner of their innovation in safety award which was bestowed for the fifth consecutive year.
AP Moller Maersk won this year’s prize for its APMT vessel inspection app. The winner and fellow short-listed entrants, Exis Technologies and Intermodal Telematics, were present at the ceremony to showcase their innovations.
At the first ‘live’ Innovation in Safety Awards ceremony for four years, held in London, Morten Engelstoft (second from left) presented the award to Nissa Ibrahim (second from right) of APM Terminals. Richard Steele (left), ICHCA, and Peregrine Storrs-Fox (right), TT Club were also pictured at the ceremony.
All three finalists gave presentations of their ground-breaking initiatives, which through their variety of application reflected the broad categories represented by the twenty award entrants drawn from thirteen countries. (cj)
