A pallet scanner for Southern England airport
British security company Westminster recently supplied a pallet scanner to help an international airport "based in the South of England" to diversify its aviation offering.
The airport is setting up a new freight screening facility as part of its plans to enhance its portfolio and expand its cargo facility to meet the demands of importers and exporters from across the UK.
With coronavirus causing many planes to be grounded and limiting the amount of profit made by the airport, the operators were looking for a more economical solution to their freight-scanning requirements.
Westminster says it has been able to offer a scanning solution to fit the strict and limited budget of the customer. (ah)
