A new truck tipper for the UK's northwest
UK forwarder Roy Braidwood & Sons has taken delivery of two C440 8x4s with sleeper cabs from Renault, joining the 35-strong eight-wheeler tipper fleet. The new C440s are being deployed in the business’ busy aggregate and muckaway fleet, primarily in the northwest of the country.
The engine of the new vehicles produces each 440 hp and has 2,200 Nm of torque, are fitted with Renaults’ Optidriver ATO 2612 gearbox automatic clutch with a gear shifting strategy optimised for fuel eco and with additional side cameras for enhanced visibility.
Braidwood was established in 1969 and offers transport, aggregate supply and waste disposal services. (ben)
