A new rail route for P400 Frigo trailers
Swiss CT operator Hupac has introduced a new intermodal connection between Antwerp and Barcelona for P400 refrigerated trailers, following a successful trial run last week. The test train carried the first P400 refrigerated trailers ever to be transported between Belgium and Spain in this way.
In cooperation with Fret SNCF, Frigo trailers were provided by Logistika Freight, a Spanish-based transport company specialising in full loads. The Hupac train covered the distance between the Antwerp Combinant terminal and El Morrot in Bacelona in 48 hours.
Hupac will also operate this new transport service for P400 Frigo trailers on the route between Antwerp Combinant and Perpignan PSCCT. (ben)
