A new president for Delta Cargo
Peter Penseel will join Delta Air Lines as SVP and president – Delta Cargo, effective 1 June 2024. With more than three decades of experience in the logistics industry, including stints in the air cargo and freight forwarding sectors, Penseel’s task will be to accelerate Delta Cargo’s progress in innovation and customer service.
Penseel previously worked for Ceva Logistics as COO of the company’s airfreight division. He spearheaded the launch of in-house cargo capacity and in 2021 was named cargo executive of the year by Air Cargo World.
Prior to his time at Ceva Logistics, Penseel held several other leadership positions at Qatar Airways Cargo, DHL Global Forwarding and UTi Worldwide. Originally from the Netherlands, he will relocate to Delta’s global headquarters in Atlanta. (cj)
