A new MD on board
Inland shipping pioneer Future Proof Shipping (FPS) has appointed Sara Ravazza as its new managing director, effective 1 April 2024. She joins the team of zero emission shipping innovators to strengthen and steer their sustainability-driven initiatives.
Bringing over two decades of experience in the shipping industry, Ravazza most recently worked as managing director of several shipping lines in the Netherlands including Maersk Benelux.
FPS offers zero-emissions shipping services to enable players along the value chain make the green transition. It aims to build and operate a fleet of ten carbon-free inland and short-sea vessels over the next five years, which it will offer for charter to logistics service providers and cargo owners. (cj)
