A new link with the Americas
Starting December 2022, the Marseille-headquartered carrier CMA CGM is launching its new Americas XL service, providing connections between ports on the US East Coast and the West Coast of South America.
CMA CGM will deploy its own vessels with a minimum 500 plugs per unit to be prepared for the transport of seasonal fresh produce.
The port rotation will be: Port Everglades – Philadelphia – New York – Kingston – Buenaventura – Callao – San Antonio – Guayaquil – Cartagena – Port Everglades. The first northbound call is planned to arrive in Callao on 20 December 2022, while the first southbound is scheduled to reach Port Everglades on 8 January 2023. (sh)
