A new hub for Greater New York
A new logistics centre is in the making. The Industrial Centre Carlstadt II, to be developed and managed by Goodman Group, is located between New Jersey and New York City. One major focus will be last mile logistics deliveries to a market of over 15 million people around New York City.
The 9,200 sqm site incorporates sustainable features like a solar panel ready roof, EV charging stations, and will be LEED certified. The project is part of the developer’s brownfield regeneration strategy. Its strategic position, 21 km from the Port of New York / New Jersey and end consumers, will reduce overall transportation related carbon emissions.
The location also provides easy access to New York City and Northern New Jersey via the Lincoln Tunnel and the George Washington Bridge. The warehouse with 13 dock doors will be available for lease from Q3/2023. (sh)
