A new e-truck for a new customer
Schaffhausen (Switzerland)-based Wanner Internationale Transporte has put its first fully electric truck into operation, having purchased the Renault Truck E-Tech T4x2 to transport potting soil for a new customer. But the haulier will not stop here and has now ordered four more electric trucks.
The aim is to operate a third of the fleet with fully electric vehicles within two or three years. The recently delivered 666 hp 42 t truck is equipped with three electric engines and six 90 kWh battery packs. It has a range of around 340 km. (ben)
