A new Dutch marine duo

Global Transport Solutions (GTS) has acquired Ship Spares Logistics (SSL), creating a marine logistics partnership in the Netherlands.

GTS specialises in maritime supply chain solutions through its Marinetrans brand, while SSL offers marine logistics services such as barge deliveries and freight forwarding. The collaboration aims to enhance marine spare parts logistics, providing clients with a comprehensive service portfolio.

The integrated approach will improve last-mile delivery options and better meet the evolving demands of the marine logistics sector through technological innovation. Existing customer relationships will not be affected by the transition, GTS said. (pb)
