A new cold chain hub in Schiphol
Global logistics provider Geodis opened its new 5,500 sqm site in Schiphol, Amsterdam, the Netherlands, on 9 October 2023. Next to the existing Venlo site, the new location will expand the provider’s footprint in pharma & healthcare.
The new facility will focus on freight forwarding and be part of Geodis’ worldwide cross docking network for ambient and cold chain products. It is Tapa-A rated for air freight and holds the appropriate Ceiv Pharma certification for handling goods in the 15-25 °C and 2-8 °C ranges.
