A first step into Singapore
Geodis and L-Acoustics are joining forces to open a new distribution hub in Singapore. The new project builds on the companies’ previous partnership when Geodis took over the distribution of the manufacturer’s products in Europe in 2018.
The new warehouse aims to strengthen L-Acoustics’ network in the Asia Pacific market, as it is the company’s first hub in the region. L-Acoustic, which specialises in professional sound equipment and software, is looking to enable better customer service and faster delivery based out of this new site.
Previously, its solutions – all manufactured in Europe – had to be shipped from France. With Geodis expertise in supply chain solutions and warehousing, L-Acoustics can now streamline its operations and reach more customers in Asia. The hub will be a bonded facility with no taxes on goods or services. (mk)
