A feat of fast delivery
Trans-o-flex’s 2023 business year was highlighted by a feat of delivery times, with the company delivering 98.07% of all ambient shipments between 15-25°C on the next working day.
Specialising in logistics for sensitive goods, Trans-o-flex achieved this record for its standard delivery times as opposed to express shipments, which have a guaranteed delivery time. This also takes into account delays caused by traffic jams or other unpredictable issues.
Meanwhile, the company’s 'ThermoMed' network, which ships pharmaceutical goods at 2-8°C, already has a delivery quota of 97.7%. The company also set new records in the non-temperature-controlled segment, with the overall performance landing at 96% of shipments delivered in 24 hours.
Trans-o-flex owes this achievement to its ramped-up shipment monitoring, enabling it to minimise the amount of goods left behind, thus increasing loading and distribution efficiency and boosting reliability.
