A combined logistics tech solution
Proglove and Topsystem, a division of the Ehrhardt Partner Group, have jointly developed a new package of mobile logistics solutions.
The combination of a pick-by-voice software and wearable barcode scanners is intended to relieve employees. Topsystem’s Lydia voice solution is joined up with Proglove's scanners to speed up order processing and improve data capture.
Employees simply scan a QR barcode to connect the two elements. This can be particularly important when recording serial or batch numbers. Initial tests show that the combination could accelerate the process by 15%. Employees do not have to use their hands for this work and can focus on other tasks. (mk)
