700 hoppers cars for hauling Russian cereal
The Russian manufacturer UWC will supply 700 hopper cars for transporting grain and grain mill products to Trade House RIF, one of Russia's largest cereal crop exporters. Wagon delivery is expected to be completed by the end of Q3/2019.
The 19-9549 hopper car, designed so that its full loading capacity (76 t) can be exploited, has bogies with a higher 25 tf axle load and a volume raised to 120 cbm for hauling a wide range of different grains. The additional volume enables the wagon to transport up to 6 t more grain than a standard model. (ben)
