500th Swiss-made freight wagon delivered
About ten years ago, Wascosa presented its first modularly built freight wagon in Switzerland. One year later, it won the innovation prize awarded by the canton of Zug. The industry was reluctant to accept the new model at first, but now the trend towards modular freight wagons has taken root.
The Wascosa flex freight system (ffs), the brand under which the manufacturer successfully markets its modular freight wagons, has definitely arrived: only recently, the company successfully delivered its 500th wagon to the market.
The jubilee wagon went to Sersa Schweiz and is equipped with various superstructures to be used in Sersa's rail-based logistics services for construction sites. (ben)
