500 wagon owners follow VPI recommendations
The VPI service company Vers welcomes the Voith Group as the 500th subscriber of the VPI European Maintenance Guide (VPI-EMG). Fifteen years after the first edition, the recommendations for the maintenance of freight cars have long since become a Europe-wide standard.
The modular maintenance guide serves wagon owners and their entities in charge of maintenance (ECM) as a basis for their maintenance regulations. Now, 500 companies from 26 countries subscribe to the CPI-EMG.
Almost all large and small wagon owners in Europe are among the recipients of these maintenance recommendations, as well as more than 200 workshops and mobile service teams. (ben)
