50 zero-emission trucks to expand fleet
Dachser is stepping up its use of zero-emission vehicles. In an initial step, the family-owned company will introduce at least 50 additional battery electric trucks on its European routes by the end of 2023. Around 1,000 electric passenger cars will also be added to its fleet of company vehicles.
At the same time, Dachser will press ahead with a range of pilot projects to develop and test hydrogen-powered trucks equipped with fuel cell technology. The haulier intends to have hydrogen-powered vehicles from a range of manufacturers operating within its network by no later than the beginning of 2023. (ben)
