20 years in Romania
Craiss Generation Logistik is now celebrating its 20th anniversary and growing portfolio in the Romanian market. Starting out in a small apartment in Sibiu, Transylvania, the company expanded its capacities in 2012 with an additional business, Craiss Transport. Leveraging its logistics and transport wings, it enhanced its portfolio to include contract logistics, value added services and cleaning and preparation of smaller transport vehicles.
With a focus on clientele from the automobile industry, Craiss now serves over 50 companies in the country. Following this anniversary, it is looking to add 14,000 sqm of logistics space, bringing pallet positions to a total of 35,000. "Our plan is to initially further consolidate the hub in Sibiu and expand to other locations in Romania in the long term," says Horia Matei, managing director of Craiss Romania. (mk)
