156 wagons delivered
Switzerland-headquartered wagon leasing company Transwaggon has completed the delivery of 156 wagons to wood procurement company Mercer Holz. The vehicles will carry woodchips.
The final 27 wagons with 81 containers recently arrived in Stendal (Saxony-Anhalt, Germany). The vehicles started their journey from the manufacturer, Tatravagonka, in Poprad, Slovakia, to Celje in Slovenia, where producer Container d.o.o. equipped each one of them with three containers.
The train then set off from Slovenia heading for Saxony-Anhalt hauling 27 wagons. With a wagon length of 63 ft, three custom-designed 21 ft containers could be installed in each wagon. (ben)
